Philadelphia Flower Show Exhibit

Call for Objects

The Arboretum at Penn State is headed to the 2027 PHS Philadelphia Flower Show—and we want to bring Penn State with us.

This spring, we’ll be driving our living exhibit from University Park to Philadelphia, where it will represent Penn State at one of the nation’s premier horticultural events. As part of the exhibit, we’re creating a collection of objects that reflects the people, places, ideas, history, and experiences that make Penn State what it is. We’re inviting Penn State faculty, staff, departments, colleges, units, alumni, museums, and other University groups to loan us an object that represents your connection to Penn State.

We welcome objects that:

  • Represent a college, department, unit, program, discipline, research area, campus, or other aspect of Penn State
  • Reflect an important or interesting moment in Penn State history
  • Connect to the people, places, traditions, or experiences of the University
  • Come from Penn State collections or museums
  • Are unexpected, unusual, humorous, or uniquely Penn State
  • Have a story or significance that you can share with us
