Rachel is a dedicated Penn Stater with a longstanding connection to the University. She joined the Arboretum team in September 2023 and holds a master of science in education, development, and community engagement from Penn State, along with a bachelor of science in agricultural science and minors in leadership development and sustainable leadership.
Throughout her career, Rachel has contributed to a wide range of nonprofit organizations, environmental centers, museums, and arts venues. Her professional experience spans youth programming, production agriculture, and interdisciplinary public engagement. As public programs manager, Rachel draws on this diverse background to design thoughtful, inclusive adult, academic, and family programs while strengthening and expanding the Arboretum’s existing initiatives.
