Jennifer joined the Arboretum staff in July of 2021 after enjoying 15 years as a preschool educator where she led a team of practitioners to plan and implement emergent project-based curricula focused on nature and place-based education. She holds a bachelor of science in recreation and park management with an option in environmental interpretation from Penn State. Jenn is passionate about connecting with families and inspiring young children to develop a love of nature and place as well as a sense of ecological citizenship. She currently serves the Arboretum on the Outreach DEIB Committee. She is responsible for the development and delivery of programs and materials for children and youth who visit the Arboretum during field trips, drop-in programming, registration-based programming, and events.
