Anna has been working and volunteering in environmental education for eight years, in roles ranging from outdoor summer program director to digital content creator and translator. She graduated from the University of Florida in 2024 with a degree in environmental science and a minor in secondary science education. The highlights of her college years were serving as a middle school classroom educator, researching tree physiology in Costa Rica, and serving as vice president and social coordinator of UF’s campus Audubon Society chapter. After graduating, she spent more than a year working as an outreach museum educator at the Florida Museum of Natural History, teaching over 8,500 individuals of different ages in her community. In addition to work and school, Anna has a background in environmental advocacy and spends much of her free time creating art, which she sells to fundraise for environmental organizations and raise awareness for causes she is passionate about. Anna is currently a master’s student at Penn State and a graduate assistant at Shaver’s Creek Environmental Center, helping out with their Outdoor School program.
