Join educators from Lincoln Caverns to learn how caves are an integral part of our groundwater system. Participants will investigate how water moves from the surface to the subterranean world and back again. There will be an activity for kids to see how groundwater aids in forming caves along with a demonstration of how sinkholes form and how they can allow surface pollution to affect our drinking water. You’ll leave with a home water audit to track your water use and discover how we can all work together to protect our drinking water.
