July 28–30: Construction and Paving Will Impact Parking and Entrance

What’s Happening

• Paving of the Katz Building parking lot: The Katz Building parking lot will be closed from the night of Sunday, July 28, through the morning of Wednesday, July 31. There may also be intermittent closures and delays on Bigler Road.

• Construction work on the Dr. Keiko Miwa Ross Gateway to the Arboretum and Palmer Museum of Art: This entrance, across from the Katz Building parking lot, will be closed for construction for portions of the day on both Monday, August 5, and Tuesday, August 6.

While the Arboretum remains open, we highly encourage visitors to use public transportation or park in the East Deck and use the pedestrian walkways leading into the Arboretum from Park Avenue and Bigler Road. Limited pedestrian access through the Administration Wing of the Palmer Museum and along the winding path that leads around the back of the Museum to the Arboretum’s Overlook Pavilion will be available on these days

While we apologize for the inconvenience, these temporary closures will result in new improvements to the visitor entry experience to the Katz Building parking lot and the Palmer Museum of Art! Thank you for your patience.
