Providing sweeping views toward Bald Eagle Ridge and the Event Lawn, the Overlook Pavilion is our most popular wedding and event venue.

Shelter: The Overlook Pavilion canopy remains in place year-round. There are side curtains, but they cannot be closed.

A bluestone terrace covered by a wisteria-draped bower and flanked by formal plantings of roses, perennials, and herbs. Suitable for small, intimate gatherings.

Shelter: The Rose Garden Bower is open to the sky. No tents may be placed in this area of the gardens.

*Clients may use the one wooden bench and two wooden chairs that are in this venue for guest seating but may not bring additional seating to the site.

The largest event space in the gardens, occupying slightly more than an acre at the heart of the botanic gardens. Ideal for large events, including festivals, wedding ceremonies, banquets, and conference receptions.

Shelter: The Event Lawn is open to the sky. It can accommodate a tent. (Maximum tent size: 100’ × 300’)

Capacity: 2,000 (seated ceremony, lecture, presentation), 1,500 (cocktail-style tables), 1,000 (seated meal with dining tables and chairs)

The Conservatory Terrace is a paved event space that is defined by tall, yellow stucco walls. It can be used (tented or un-tented) for semi-private gatherings. The walls are an armature for vine trellises so that the total effect is one of lushness. Because this terrace will lead into a conservatory someday, the theme of the plantings is tropical. Several tables, benches, and chairs are in the venue for visitors’ use.

The Event Patio is a paved venue located in the Pollinator and Bird Garden. Several round tables and chairs and benches are arrayed in the space for visitors to use.

Shelter: The Event Patio is open to the sky. It can accommodate a tent that covers the entire area or just one section. (Maximum tent size: 20’ × 40’)

Capacity: 90 (lecture or presentation), 75 (cocktail-style tables), 50 (seated meal with dining tables and chairs)

The Pollinator Plaza is an open, paved area in the Pollinator and Bird Garden. It is located just inside the main entrance to this three-acre area containing flower beds, a pond, wetlands, woodland, and dry meadow.

Shelter: The Pollinator Plaza is open to the sky. It can accommodate a tent that is held in place by concrete weights. (Maximum tent size: 20’ × 40’)
