World Migratory Bird Day Birdwatching Walk

Celebrate World Migratory Bird Day by dropping in for a bird walk led by an avian expert! This is a great time to catch migrating birds headed north and to spot birds in their fresh breeding-season plumage. The walk will meet at the Overlook Pavilion, #15 on the Arboretum map (PDF), and proceed to the gardens and/or the Arboretum’s natural areas.

This free event is open to adults (18+) and will proceed in light rain but may be canceled without notice in the case of steady rain or other inclement weather.

Please dress for the weather and wear shoes suitable for hiking on rustic trails. Bring binoculars if you have them. The Arboretum will have a limited number of pairs to loan out.
