Toadstool Trek in the Trees

Explore mid-summer fungi and the ecology of the Arboretum’s Hartley Wood with David Geiser, professor of mycology, and Sanford Smith, teaching professor of forestry at Penn State. The walk will meet at the Overlook Pavilion and proceed to the Hartley Wood.

This free program is open to adults (18+). Registration is required.

Please wear sturdy shoes suitable for walking on rustic forest trails, bring a water bottle, and dress for the weather. The walk may be canceled on short notice in the event of steady rain or other inclement weather.
