Toadstool Trek

Explore the Hartley Wood and discover the interconnected web of forest and fungi during this walk, led by Penn State professor of mycology David Geiser and teaching professor of forestry Sanford (Sandy) Smith. 

This walk departs from the Overlook Pavilion and proceeds to the Arboretum’s natural areas. Please wear shoes suitable for hiking on rustic trails. The walk will proceed in light rain but may be delayed or canceled in case of heavy rain or thunderstorms.

• Cost: $5 (free for Penn State students and Arboretum volunteers)
