Stories under the Sky
Telling stories under the open sky is a tradition that stretches back to the dawn of humanity. Join researchers from Penn State as they share histories, myths, and legends of diverse cultures in a lively, oral storytelling format. These stories will be interspersed with astronomical history and the science of timekeeping, major stellar events, navigational techniques, and cosmologies. Following the stories, local astronomy experts will lead the audience in a laser-guided constellation tour and telescope observation session.
