Family Gardening Club

Calling all young gardeners and their families! Are you interested in growing your own food and flowers? If your answer is “yes,” then dig right in by registering for our Arboretum Family Gardening Club!

This six-session program will take place on Sunday afternoons during the late winter and spring months. Participants will receive all the supplies necessary to grow six seasonally appropriate plant varieties from seed to harvest, including the seeds, soil, and full-size containers suitable for small outdoor spaces. Bi-weekly activities will include seed starting or direct sowing, plant education lessons, plant care instructions, fun garden crafts, and opportunities to build community through sharing our successes while learning from each other.

Program Dates

Family Gardening Club will be held on six Sundays in 2025:

February 23, March 9, March 23, April 6, April 13, May 4, May 18 (alternate weather date)

Cost

$150 per child (includes 1 accompanying adult). Additional adult participants can be added for $75 each.

Note: No payment due during registration. After the January 31 registration deadline, participants will receive an email with instructions for paying the registration fee.
