Explore the Wildflower Woods Walk

Wild columbine, Aquilegia candensis, one of the many ephemeral wildflowers blooming in the Hartley Wood this spring
Join Penn State professors Eric Burkhart and Sanford “Sandy” Smith on a walk through the Arboretum’s Hartley Wood, where wildflowers and trees are bursting with blooms. On this walk, participants will explore the signs of spring, nature’s time for reproduction, regrowth, and regeneration, and learn a little basic botany too!
Please plan to wear sturdy shoes suitable for walking on rustic forest trails.
