Earth Day at the Arboretum

Join us at the Arboretum for a celebration of Earth Day! Saturday activities will include a hands-on habitat-centric “Wetland Discoveries” program and an exploration of galling insects, gall ink, and history with an educator from the Frost Museum. If the event is delayed by rain, a more limited slate of activities will be available on the rain day. Children’s garden toys and science tools will be available for free play and exploration.

This event is open to all ages, designed for kids and families. It is made possible by the Mark Jay Tygel Endowment for Educational Programs in the Arboretum at Penn State.

This program may be canceled without notice in the event of extreme weather. Rain date: April 21, 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
