Travis joined the Arboretum team in 2024, shortly after he moved from Dallas, Texas. For nearly 3 years, he loved working as a horticulture crew leader at The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, where his passion for art and design met with his enjoyment of working outdoors. He has professional experience in floral design, landscaping, invasive control, and forestry.
Now in The Arboretum at Penn State, Travis manages the Pollinator and Bird Garden. From planning plots to planting pansies, pulling pest plants to pruning perennials, and placing pumpkins to preserving ponds, he puts in the effort to preserve this Pennsylvania pollinator patch.
