Drop in for a guided walk through the botanic gardens, during which we will explore the way certain plants and animals have flourished in environments altered by humans. This walk is a companion to the Palmer Museum’s “Price of Progress” tour of the galleries, which will follow the “Perks” walk. These through-the-looking-glass explorations of industrialization, climate change, pollution, and overconsumption are inspired by the Mark Dion and Alexis Rockman exhibit Journey to Nature’s Underworld (open now through December 7, 2025).
Together, the Perks and Price tours present two perspectives on how human activity is reshaping the world around us.
