Winter Bee Biology Webinar
January 26 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
FreeWhat does being “busy as a bee” look like in winter? When weather is cold and the fields are bare, where are the bees and what are they doing? Join Penn State Entomology’s Kate Anton and Natalie Boyle to learn about different strategies that bees use to survive the coldest months of the year, and about actions you can take to keep them safe in your own backyard.
Instructors: Dr. Natalie Boyle is an assistant research professor in the Department of Entomology at Penn State University. She is the coordinator for educational programming at Penn State’s Center for Pollinator Research and oversees the development of public workshops and classes in pollinator-friendly landscaping, beekeeping, and insect conservation.
