CANCELED: SHINRIN-YOKU WALK WITH LUCY HEGGENSTALLER

September 22 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Free

NOTE: This activity has been re-scheduled due to a forecast for rain on September 22. The re-scheduled date is Friday, October 8. The time remains the same – 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.

Shinrin-yoku, a meditative Japanese practice commonly referred to as “forest bathing,” encourages participants to be mindful and present as they slow down and intentionally immerse themselves in nature. Shinrin-yoku has been associated with numerous health benefits, including stress relief, lowered blood pressure, and heightened attention span. Join Lucy Heggenstaller, certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide, for a guided and engaging walk through the Arboretum’s gardens.

All events, programs, and activities are dependent on weather and may be canceled in the event of inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
