DIGGING DEEPER: THE STORY OF SOIL (MINI CAMP)
July 17 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pmFree
“Digging Deeper: The Story of Soil” is a hands-on program that encourages children to draw connections between our world and the world just beneath our feet. We’ll explore how soil is formed and learn to recognize the characteristics of healthy soil. In the process, we’ll learn why soil is vital to both natural ecosystems and human society. This program is supported by the Mark Jay Tygel Endowment for Educational Programs in The Arboretum at Penn State.
You’ll be provided with additional information and registration forms via email no later than one week prior to the start of the program. If you have questions in the meantime, please contact the Arboretum’s public programs manager, Timothy Gould (firstname.lastname@example.org, 814-867-4262).
This program is for children entering 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade.
Advance registration required. Register at https://cvent.me/PWwelO.
