Ann Leffel of the Pennsylvania Chapter
of The American Chestnut Foundation attended the ceremony celebrating
the establishment of a hybrid chestnut plantation in The Arboretum at
Penn State. The seed produced by these trees holds great promise for
restoring the American chestnut to its former range in Pennsylvania. |
